Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose CTP over other clinics?
We are the originators of the KAP model, not simply providers. Our therapeutic environment, compassionate team, and years of expertise create lasting change.
What is KAP and how does it work?
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy helps reduce the grip of trauma, depression, and anxiety by creating space for healing, deeper self-awareness, release, and transformation. We want to know you and process your experience with you.
How is ketamine administered?
We use sublingual lozenges, at times intranasal spray and intramuscular injections—not IVs in a sterile medical setting– as a gentler, deeper and more effective therapeutic experience.
How long is a session?
KAP sessions last 2.5 to 3 hours with full therapeutic support. Intake and integration sessions are 60–90 minutes.
Is everyone accepted for treatment?
Not everyone is a fit. We evaluate each case carefully during the intake process and only proceed when we believe KAP is appropriate.
Does insurance cover ketamine therapy?
We are outside providers. While insurance does not cover ketamine itself, we provide documentation for psychotherapy reimbursement (excluding Medicare) as appropriate to your plan.
What about cost?
Our program is intentionally designed to be affordable and intensive. Overall costs for our KAP process are significantly less than for IV clinics
